experiences w/ grade IV

This is what we called the FREEDOM BOARD. We didn’t expect that these pupils will write their emotions and heartfelt gratitude while we are having our goodbyes to them. They touched our heart because in just a short time of having them in school especially in Grade IV class, we feel that they give love and importance to us.

We are thankful of having a great and open-minded mentor in doing our community immersion. She inspires us of pursuing our dreams, of being a teacher and a mother of learners.
Why did you want to be a teacher? This is the first question that Ma’am Catolinask when we arrived at their school. We just answer back at her synonymously, we love our course. But then she added, Are you sure of what you are taking path? Teaching is not just a work or being professional. It is how you deal these children with different behaviors, learning style and attitude. Most of them are poor. You have to spare some of your meal even money to feed some of them just to stay schooling and not be bothered by their empty stomach. Are you ready to face it in the near future?
We went to our rooms blankly. Are we ready or already capable of these sacrifices?
