Through Community Emersion
Almost every student at
West Visayas State University could relate when the topic is about community emersion.
It is the time for us to learn about the problems in a certain community. How?
We go to a certain place or a certain school and we get ourselves involve in. We
help that community develop its livelihood through giving seminars on how to
improve their way of life.
We also teach children.
We substitute and act as teachers. We together with our supervising teacher
give something that the school needs. Example is a library. We also conduct
feeding program for the pupils who are studying in that school.
At the end of our
community emersion, we gave a surprise farewell program for the children and
gave a plaque and token to the school.
So you see! Community
emersion is not just merely for fun. You learned and enjoyed the same time you
helped.
